Turn Content Into Dream Clients (Lessons From 200 Clients in 13 Countries)

I’m going to show you how to turn your content into Dream Clients.

We're living in a golden era where you can publish your message, freely, for the entire world to see, and you can build a thriving business serving others by doing so. 

Unfortunately, only a small percentage of people who feel a bigger calling are showing up and sharing their ideas online, and of them, very few are getting their message seen by their Dream Clients, let alone having their content create demand from people they'd love to serve.

To help show you how to turn your content into Dream Clients, I want to introduce you to Melanie.

Gave Her a Strategy for Content That Creates Demand


 There's two ways people tend to fumble here:

  1. Having zero content strategy. That means waking up everyday and having no idea what you're going to post about or posting whatever comes to mind week to week in hopes something will work.

  2. Having a content plan that is solely focused on following "content pillars" without considering what actually moves people to take action.

Once you have people's attention and interest, you're only part way there.

You need a way to enroll people that doesn't feel icky or gross. Coaching is personal. Coaching requires creating trust. For most coaches, this means doing some kind of discovery call/strategy session. Aka a sales call that's not supposed to feel like, smell like, or be called a sales call. For Melanie, that meant using my CUSS Call framework (I swear by it ;)

Want your disco calls to generate better results?

Approach the conversations with genuine curiosity instead of an intention to “close them as a client”, set the stage for what to expect at the start of the conversation, and do way more more asking of questions than talking.

Remember: the goal is not only to understand them and their challenges but to make them feel understood.

 

Overhauled Her Offer + How She Was Presenting Offers


One of the many (many) benefits of deeply knowing exactly who you're serving is being able to create an offer that is irresistible to them. The better you know your Dream Clients, the better you can create something that feels like it was made just for them.
 
Questions to ask yourself:

  • Does it have a clear outcome? There’s a big difference between “You’ll feel more confident” and “You’ll be confident enough to speak on stage and ask for a raise“. The more measurable it is, the better.

  • Are you talking about the destination or the ride? Your clients aren’t buying the number of sessions, voxer/whatsapp access, and worksheets. What they want is where all that will get them.

  • What things can you do or add to your offer to increase their likelihood of success? Look at your past clients who succeeded the most, what do they have in common?

  • How can you reduce their fears and feelings of risk? You’re asking them to take a big leap and trust you. This might mean offering a guarantee. I’m highly selective of who I work with 1:1 and offer my clients a full money-back guarantee if they're not absolutely convinced of the immense value they got from us working together.
